Scorpion

Tortoise

Hello everyone I'm new here and this is my first contribution so don't be hard on me.The 2 following bots are immitations from the animal kingdom.

Some say the scorp is a perfect fighting machine due to its superior position of its weapons. I tried to duplicate that but I'm not sure I succeded...

The Tortoise was designed as a robot that "Doesn't have an surface worth to be hit"- my father's idea...Well that is true except for it's weapons that can be damaged very easily.

That's all. I don't mind anyone using my bot's on tournaments or modifying them but I would appreciate it if you send me an e-mail with the battle's recording and/or the the upgraded bot's file. Thanks. kmous@tee.gr (28 May 2002)

DESIGNER: Mister Bucket   BOT: mb_10k_bot (29k) Download

Well, this bot may seem out of place with a 100k credit monster, but bots like these are barrels of fun :) A 10k monster, is the reigning champion in the 10k Challenge Rooms tourneys.

Wielding... well... a constantly changing weapon, this bot has stormed all of the concoctions of all the participants. This version is wielding the deadliest spinner the 10k's have seen so far. Two jackhammers not only incur wild recoil damage but protect the small 180 stack.

Other versions include hammers, rammers, stick rammers, stickbots, stick hammers, low stick moving thingies, and long-arm-whackers. Also an example of conservative and efficient design. (15 May 2002)

DESIGNER: No_M3RcY    BOT: nm_testbot_100k (57k) Download

A decent 100k testbot, weapon array good to test your weapon coverage, also good to test if your weapon quantity is suitable. Can do a lot of damage once it gets past your weapons.

You can do what ever you want with this bot but it wont win any 100k tourns so i wouldn't bother :) (14 May 2002)

DESIGNER: Mister Bucket   BOT: Mb_134_Cranshaft (73k) Download

Well, there's not much to Crankshaft cept a pile of weapons. He's a Bladsk spinner with four gronds and two Prongs. Three omnis, two Hearts, a sensor, a controller, and a dome shield. That's it.

However, his swings are so powerful he can cripple a bot in seconds. Great testbot for frailer designs that need to skimp on shielding. -MB (11 May 2002)
