MILESTONES
•   January 1998 - Start-up capital raised.
•   January 1998 to Nov 1999 - Design and working prototype produced. A basic version of RoboForge was developed to prove that the concept was viable and that the development environment and tools were adequate.
•   November 1999 - Venture capital raised for the second phase of development. The funding was for additional staff and to see RoboForge through to release.
•   July 2000 - Website goes live. RoboForge is announced and beta testers are recruited.
•   August 2000 - Letter of Intent signed with Sun Microsystems for joint promotion and business development.
•   October 2000 - Winner of the "Start-Up of the Year Award" at the Hi-Tech Excellence Awards 2000, New Zealand's premier business awards.
•   November 2000 - Public beta commenced.
•   23 May 2001 - Game release date.
